KKSK – one of the oldest and most renowned raw to finished leather based tannery based in Erode, India specialising in the manufacturing of Calf and Cow Leathers. Our company is run by our managing director – Mr. K. Mohamed Hyder who is one of the pioneers of the Indian Leather industry and also the President of the Erode Tannery Owners association and his son Mr. Aahif Mohamed Hyder who has joined our group in the year 2015.
Apart from the leather division, KKSK has also stamped their footprint in the renewable energy (We own more than 20 MW of Wind Mills) and real estate industry. KKSK also has an Investment division that is now as big as the leather division.
What We Do
Beam House
Removal of unwanted Components (dung, hair, natural fats, etc)
Tanning
preservation of the hide by treatment with tanning products eg chromium salts
Dyeing
The hide is treated with dyes, softening & filling agents to produce leather
Finishing
Most leathers have a final application of coating
